Deck overview

Magda, Brazen Outlaw turns a Dwarf board into Treasures and uses five Treasures to cheat artifacts or Dragons onto the battlefield. The deck's practical plan is to deploy cheap Dwarves and changelings, generate Treasures through tapping and combat, then tutor high-impact artifacts or Dragons such as Hellkite Tyrant, Clock of Omens, Xorn, or Warmaker Gunship. Tribal enhancers such as Maskwood Nexus, Runed Stalactite, and Amorphous Axe improve the number of creatures that qualify as Dwarves. The plan has strong flavor and some explosive turns, but its ordinary setup needs five bodies and several turns of mana development. It lacks reliable broad tutoring, efficient protection, and a deterministic finisher. Hellkite Tyrant is the closest alternate-win route, but twenty artifacts and a following upkeep are not dependable in ordinary games. The deck is therefore a creative, combat-oriented artifact toolbox rather than a competitive combo or stax deck.
