Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos aristocrats strategy led by Evereth, Viceroy of Plunder. The primary game plan develops early sacrifice fodder and treasure producers before casting Evereth on Turn 3. On subsequent turns, the deck feeds recursive creatures like Reassembling Skeleton and token generators into Evereth to accumulate +1/+1 counters at sorcery speed. Equipment such as Blade of the Bloodchief and Tarrian's Soulcleaver accelerate this power scaling. As Evereth grows into a lethal airborne threat, drain permanents like Blood Artist, Marionette Apprentice, and Falkenrath Noble chip away at opposing life totals. The deck reaches a must-answer state around Turn 6 and finishes the table by Turn 8, utilizing combat damage alongside Evereth's paid death trigger to burn all opponents simultaneously. While resilient against traditional destruction, the deck relies on sorcery-speed actions and natural card flow, making it vulnerable to exile-based removal and fast combo strategies.
