Deck overview

This Selesnya deck is an artifact-midrange strategy led by T'Challa, the Black Panther. The deck focuses on generating indestructible Vibranium tokens on entry and attack, which accelerate high-cost artifact spells of mana value 4 or greater. Casting these beefy artifacts triggers T'Challa's ability to accumulate +1/+1 counters, transforming the commander into a formidable tall threat while establishing resilient board presence. Supporting creatures like Zuri, Warrior of Wakanda, W'Kabi, Shield of the Nation, and Bast, Panther Goddess reward this curve with wide tokens, creature pump, and combat keywords. Card advantage is maintained through Monarch enablers such as Palace Jailer and Nakia, Wakandan Operative, alongside artifact draw engines like Mind's Eye and Shuri, the Black Panther. The deck looks to overwhelm the table between turns 6 and 8 through massive combat damage powered by Overwhelming Stampede and Bronze Guardian. While vulnerable to mass exile sweepers, its indestructible mana base and artifact recursion ensure steady mid-game resilience.
