Deck overview

This deck is a Golgari Aristocrats and Attrition strategy commanded by Savra, Queen of the Golgari. The game plan centers on assembling a durable engine of recursive black and green creatures, sacrifice outlets, and life-manipulation payoffs. Operating on a land-dense foundation of 45 basic lands, the deck ensures consistent mana drops to reliably cast Savra on Turn 4 and activate sacrifice engines by Turn 5. By sacrificing dual-colored creatures such as Pest and Worm tokens, Savra breaks parity by gaining life while forcing each opponent to sacrifice creatures, establishing severe creature-based board control. The deck transitions into a win condition around Turn 7 via large-scale threats like Beledros Witherbloom, Lord of Extinction, and Worm Harvest, supplemented by life drain from Dina, Soul Steeper and Baba Lysaga, Night Witch. While resilient in creature combat and graveyard recovery, it is vulnerable to fast noncreature combo decks and mass exile wipes.
