Derevi, Tappity Taps by gmachine1110

Format: Commander

Commander: Derevi, Empyrial Tactician

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Derevi, Empyrial Tactician commands a Bant tempo and flying aggro strategy that leverages combat damage triggers to untap mana sources and control the battlefield. The deck swarms the board with evasive creatures to draw cards through engines like Reconnaissance Mission and Curiosity Crafter while locking down opposing threats using Moat, Frozen Aether, and Dismiss into Dream. Derevi frequently enters at instant speed for a static four-mana cost, bypassing commander tax to continuously generate untap triggers. Primary win conditions include overwhelming opponents through pumped aerial swarms with Scale Up, Biomass Mutation, or Kangee, or assembling an infinite mana engine using Delney, Streetwise Lookout, Bloom Tender, and Derevi.
