The Hills Are Alive With The Sound Of Booty Booty Booty Booty Rockin' Everywhere by legobumb

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck is a highly synergistic, Abzan "toughness matters" aggro-midrange strategy helmed by Doran, Besieged by Time. The primary game plan revolves around deploying high-toughness, low-power creatures at a massive discount thanks to Doran's cost-reduction ability. Once the board is established, the deck leverages Doran's triggered ability to grant massive +X/+X buffs during the combat step, turning defensive walls into lethal threats. Because the creatures naturally have low base power, the deck breaks parity on asymmetric board wipes like Slaughter the Strong and stax pieces like Meekstone. The deck wins through overwhelming combat damage, exponential power scaling via trigger doublers, or infect via Triumph of the Hordes. It plays like a relentless, math-heavy combat deck that dictates the board state through highly specialized removal and incredibly resilient, oversized creatures.
