Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Abzan deck plays a patient life-as-resource game: it gains life from lifelink, Soul Warden effects, and enter triggers, while paying life to draw cards, ramp, and fill the graveyard. Betor, Ancestor's Voice is the engine, turning the life gained into +1/+1 counters and the life lost into end-step reanimation. Doubling effects on both life gain and counters let a single turn snowball. Secondary payoffs-Vito, Sanguine Bond, Enduring Tenacity, and Lunar Convocation-turn every heal into damage, and Exsanguinate closes the game after Beledros Witherbloom untaps the board. The deck is resilient but slow, with no fast combo.
