Deck overview

This deck is a focused Orzhov Aristocrats and Lifegain build commanded by Sorin of House Markov with Lurrus of the Dream-Den as a companion. Built under Lurrus's strict permanent restriction of mana value 2 or less, the deck features an exceptionally low curve that ensures high early-game consistency and seamless recursion. The primary game plan revolves around transforming Sorin into a planeswalker by gaining 3 or more life in a single turn, then leveraging sacrifice outlets, death triggers, and lifegain multipliers to drain all opponents simultaneously. While the deck lacks high-tier fast mana, instant-speed stack interaction, and dedicated tutors, it generates steady card flow from the graveyard and library top. Key payoffs like Vizkopa Guildmage, Cruel Celebrant, and Revival // Revenge translate accumulated lifegain and sacrificial fodder into inevitable table-wide lethality.
