Deck overview

This Golgari deck leverages cheap deathtouch creatures to create an oppressive combat presence, supported by poison counters and asymmetric attrition. Commanded by The Serpent Society, the deck deters opponent interaction through a severe Ward cost of five poison counters while turning every creature trade into a multi-opponent edict against nontoken threats. The primary win condition revolves around applying early poison counters using Fynn, the Fangbearer and toxic creatures, then rapidly multiplying them with proliferate engines like Contaminant Grafter, Evolution Sage, and Vraska, Betrayal's Sting. It features an efficient removal suite capable of answering any opposing permanent type on curve. Card advantage is maintained through combat triggers such as Toski, Bearer of Secrets and Ohran Frostfang alongside equipment like Skullclamp. While weak to non-targeting sweepers and evasive flying armies, the deck presents a steady, lethal poison clock backed by resilient graveyard recursion.
