Deck overview

This deck is an Izzet Dice-Rolling Voltron strategy helmed by Wyll, Blade of Frontiers and Sword Coast Sailor. The primary game plan revolves around casting Wyll early, establishing guaranteed unblockability against the table's life leader with Sword Coast Sailor, and triggering dice rolls to continuously grow Wyll's power and toughness. Redundant dice-rolling permanents such as Barbarian Class, Pixie Guide, and Feywild Trickster ensure steady +1/+1 counter progression and incidental token generation or card advantage. The deck supplements its combat pressure with secondary spellslinger synergies from creatures like Balmor, Battlemage Captain and Pyre Hound. However, because it eliminates opponents one by one through combat without built-in protection or fast mana acceleration, it gives opponents substantial time to react with creature removal and sweepers. The deck excels in casual multiplayer tables where it can steadily apply unblockable pressure and leverage dice-rolling value engines.
