Deck overview

This deck is an Esper artifact midrange strategy helmed by Urza, Chief Artificer. The primary game plan focuses on deploying low-cost artifacts and artifact creatures during the opening turns to accelerate Urza onto the battlefield on Turn 4 via affinity. Once established, Urza automatically generates a 0/0 Construct artifact creature token at every end step, scaling in size with every artifact on your board while granting all artifact creatures menace. By Turn 5, these Constructs become massive evasive threats that pressure life totals and force opponents to produce sweepers. The deck features strong redundancy for Construct generation through Simulacrum Synthesizer, Urza, Lord High Artificer, and Urza's Saga, complemented by card draw engines like Rhystic Study and asymmetric board wipes like All Is Dust. In addition to combat beatdown, the deck contains an infinite extra-turn combo with Thopter Assembly and Time Sieve to bypass stalemated boards.
