Deck overview

This mono-black deck is a high-speed turbo combo engine powered by K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth. K'rrik turns life into black mana, allowing explosive early turns that outpace ordinary mana curves. Supported by fast mana rocks, dark rituals, and efficient tutors, the deck aims to deploy K'rrik on Turn 2 and threaten an immediate table-wide win on Turn 3. Its primary routes involve reanimating Vilis, Broker of Blood to draw massive portions of the library, digging into Aetherflux Reservoir, Bolas's Citadel, or infinite drain combos like Chainer, Dementia Master looping Gray Merchant of Asphodel and Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose paired with Exquisite Blood. While highly lethal and fast, the deck heavily taxes its own life total and relies on creature-based synergies, leaving it susceptible to well-timed spot removal, counterspells, and aggressive burn.
