Deck overview

This Azorius deck, helmed by Heliod, the Radiant Dawn // Heliod, the Warped Eclipse, is a high-powered combo-control engine that leverages the back face's flash and cost-reduction ability to deploy its game-ending threats at instant speed. The primary plan is to assemble the Isochron Scepter + Dramatic Reversal infinite-mana loop, then convert that mana into a win via Aetherflux Reservoir or Laboratory Maniac after a mass wheel. A dense tutor suite, fast mana, and a robust stack of counterspells and protection spells provide both speed and resilience. The deck also packs a secondary beatdown plan with big Eldrazi like Kozilek, Butcher of Truth and Blightsteel Colossus, which become even more terrifying when cast with flash and reduced costs.
