Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos spellslinger burn strategy commanded by Kuja, Genome Sorcerer // Trance Kuja, Fate Defied. The game plan focuses on casting low-mana noncreature spells to trigger damage from Wizard tokens and burn creatures like Coruscation Mage and Guttersnipe. Kuja steadily generates 0/1 Wizard tokens on each of your end steps. Once you control four Wizards, Kuja transforms into Trance Kuja, Fate Defied, doubling all damage dealt by your Wizards. High-impact enchantments such as City on Fire, Fiery Emancipation, and Collective Inferno multiply this damage further, converting inexpensive burn spells and cantrips into lethal table-wide damage. The deck features strong creature and artifact removal to keep opposing boards clear while assembling its engine. However, it relies heavily on keeping small creature tokens alive across multiple turns and has limited protection against board wipes or non-creature threats.
