Dimir Monarchy by nswoll

Format: Commander

Commander: Kang, Temporal Tyrant

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Kang, Temporal Tyrant leads a Human-tribal midrange deck that turns every extra draw into life-loss and a growing board. The primary plan is to cast Kang on turn 3 and use each attack's connive as the 'second card of the turn' to grow him, drain all opponents, and feed token/counter payoffs such as Madame Masque, Mischievous Mystic, Detective of the Month, and Roxxon Brutes. Secondary paths are the monarch engine-Court of Ambition and Grave Venerations pressure everyone while extra cards flow-and a final Human swarm buffed by Door of Destinies or Obelisk of Urd. Jerren, Corrupted Bishop is only a supporting value Human; no hidden commander exists. Kang is both the drain engine and primary attacker.
