Commander: Magar of the Magic Strings

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a spells-matter pseudo-reanimator deck that uses Magar of the Magic Strings to turn discarded instant and sorcery cards into 3/3 creatures that "perform" their noted spell on combat damage. The primary game plan is to fill the graveyard with high-impact spells - extra-combat spells, Breach the Multiverse, Fevered Suspicion, Worst Fears - then animate them into evasive, hasted attackers that trigger free spell casts. Its signature win is an infinite combat loop: animate Relentless Assault or Seize the Day, attack with the 3/3, and each trigger generates another free extra-combat copy. Backup lines include Reiterate plus Mana Geyser/Brass's Bounty into infinite mana for Exsanguinate, and a small burn package in Guttersnipe, Fiery Inscription, and Storm-Kiln Artist. The deck is fast and explosive but heavily commander-dependent and thin on stack interaction.
