Deck overview

This Izzet artifact deck is led by Tony Stark // The Invincible Iron Man. In the early turns, the deck deploys 2-CMC mana rocks, dorks, and cost-reduction creatures while using Tony's front-side activated ability to filter through the library for key artifacts. By turn 5, the deck pays six mana to transform Tony Stark into The Invincible Iron Man, a 5/5 flying creature with haste that cheats massive artifacts directly from hand onto the battlefield at the beginning of combat. Cheated equipment like Argentum Armor and Ultima Weapon attach automatically to create an 11- to 14-power flying commander that removes opposing permanents on attack. Mid-to-late game turns expand this pressure by cheating bombs like Darksteel Colossus, Krang, Utrom Warlord, or Hexplate Wallbreaker, closing the game with overwhelming combat damage around turn 7. The list is supported by efficient interaction, hexproof equipment, and strong backup engines like Master Transmuter and Saheeli, the Gifted.
