This Averna, the Chaos Bloom deck is an explosive Temur midrange engine combining the cascade mechanic with landfall acceleration. By using Averna to extract lands revealed during cascade exiles, every cascade spell acts as both a free spell cast and an untapped or tapped ramp effect. The deck uses early ramp to deploy Averna on turn 3 and begins cascading on turn 4. By turn 5, the mana surplus fuels overwhelming threats like Apex Devastator, Maelstrom Wanderer, and Avenger of Zendikar. The deck intentionally omits cheap conditional counterspells to ensure every cascade hits proactive board pieces, relying instead on channel lands, Deflecting Swat, and asymmetric damage sweepers for interaction.
