Deck overview

This Orzhov deck operates as a defensive pillowfort and control strategy led by the partner commanders Tymna the Weaver and Ravos, Soultender. The deck focuses on creating strong damage-prevention barriers using cards like Solemnity, Nine Lives, Phyrexian Unlife, and Peacekeeper to shut down opposing aggression. A dense suite of 11 unconditional and specific tutors gives the deck reliable access to its primary win condition, Approach of the Second Sun. Tymna the Weaver generates early card flow through chip combat damage, while mid-game powerhouses like The One Ring and Necropotence supply burst draw to quickly dig back to Approach after its first cast. Protection spells like Teferi's Protection and Rebuff the Wicked safeguard critical enchantments from opposing removal. If the primary plan is disrupted, the deck can eliminate players through sudden life-total manipulation with Tree of Perdition and Bloodletter of Aclazotz, or grind out combat victories with resilient flying Angels.
