Deck overview

This deck is a classic Selesnya token swarm and lifegain deck led by Trostani, Selesnya's Voice. The primary game plan ramps on early turns into durable token engines such as Adeline, Resplendent Cathar, Felidar Retreat, and Scute Swarm. Trostani converts every entering creature into a life buffer, making the pilot resilient against aggressive strategies while enabling alternate payoffs like Ajani, Strength of the Pride and Aetherflux Reservoir. Card draw engines such as Skullclamp, Welcoming Vampire, and Tribute to the World Tree keep hand velocity high as the board expands. The deck transitions into a lethal win state between Turns 6 and 7 by resolving wide finishers like Craterhoof Behemoth, End-Raze Forerunners, or Akroma's Will. Defensive spells like Heroic Intervention and asymmetric sweepers like Hour of Reckoning ensure board parity remains heavily in your favor throughout the midgame.
