Deck overview

This mono-blue control and combo-mill deck is commanded by Bruvac the Grandiloquent, whose static replacement effect doubles all opponent mill triggers. The primary strategy seeks to resolve a kicked Maddening Cacophony with Bruvac on the battlefield, which forces every opponent to mill 100% of their library in a single resolution, leaving them to lose on their subsequent draw steps. Supported by 16 copies of Persistent Petitioners, the deck achieves exceptional functional redundancy, turning every cluster of four Advisors into a repeatable 24-card mill engine. A robust card advantage package featuring Rhystic Study, Mystic Remora, and The One Ring maintains gas, while Mystical Tutor and Muddle the Mixture reliably fetch the primary win conditions. The deck defends its setup with a formidable countermagic suite, including free protection spells like Force of Will, Fierce Guardianship, and Pact of Negation, alongside defensive combat deterrents like Propaganda and Silent Arbiter to stall aggressive boards.
