Deck overview

This mono-red deck harnesses the explosive synergy between devotion to red and discard payoffs. Commanded by Clive, Ifrit's Dominant, the deck spends its early turns establishing red mana pips through resilient permanents like Purphoros, God of the Forge, Torbran, Thane of Red Fell, and discard-triggered burn creatures such as Glint-Horn Buccaneer and Magmakin Artillerist. On Turn 5, Clive lands to discard your hand and draw a massive wave of fresh cards equal to your devotion. This trigger deals immediate damage to all opponents while fueling an explosive follow-up turn. On Turn 6, the deck converts this influx of cards into game-ending burn using copy spells like Twinflame, damage multipliers like Fiery Emancipation, or high-impact finishers like Fanatic of Mogis and Chandra's Ignition. Backed by powerful red recursion and redirection spells, the deck overwhelms the table with burn damage.
