Elf Blight Tribal by Foption

Format: Commander

Commander: High Perfect Morcant

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Golgari Elf tribal deck helmed by High Perfect Morcant aims to blend the classic Elf-go-wide strategy with a persistent -1/-1 counter subtheme. The commander's proliferate ability, activated by tapping three untapped Elves, spreads -1/-1 counters across opponents' boards while simultaneously fueling token generators like Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons, Flourishing Defenses, and Blowfly Infestation. The primary win condition is overwhelming combat damage from a wide army of Elf tokens, supported by drain effects from Shaman of the Pack and Lathril, Blade of the Elves's activated ability. The deck's secondary path is controlling the board through wither and counter-based removal, then finishing with a critical mass of Elves. The commander is a value engine that accelerates the -1/-1 counter plan but is not essential to the deck's core strategy.
