Deck overview

This mono-red deck is a classic ETB-damage "pinger" strategy helmed by Norin the Wary. The core plan leverages Norin's unique ability to exile and return at each end step-triggering a suite of "whenever a creature enters" effects such as Purphoros, God of the Forge, Impact Tremors, Warstorm Surge, and Terror of the Peaks. Token generators like Kher Keep and Genesis Chamber multiply the number of enter triggers each turn, while damage doublers and triplers (Torbran, Thane of Red Fell, Solphim, Mayhem Dominus, Fiery Emancipation, City on Fire) turn each small ping into game-ending damage. The deck can also win in a single explosive turn by combining Repercussion with a mass board wipe like Blasphemous Act. It is a slow, grindy deck that wants to outlast opponents with repeated incremental damage and strong rebuild capability.
