Deck overview

This Sultai midrange deck commands an army of Elves and Faeries led by Maralen, Fae Ascendant. The strategy focuses on establishing early board presence with cost-effective tribal creatures, ramping into Maralen on turn 4 or 5, and leveraging her enters-the-battlefield trigger to exile and cast opposing spells for free. By combining tribal density with theft-based card advantage, the deck generates continuous tempo while developing wide creature boards. Payoffs such as Thranduil's Company, Elrond, Master of Healing, and Thornfist Striker convert the swarm of small creatures into a lethal combat force with +1/+1 counters and trample. A robust suite of counterspells and targeted removal protects the team against opposing threats and sweepers, while resilient graveyard recursion spells like Zombify and Unbury ensure rapid recovery from board wipes. Without relying on infinite combos or fast mana, the deck wins through steady attrition, dynamic value theft, and overwhelming multi-turn combat pressure.
