Deck overview

This Temur deck pairs Pako, Arcane Retriever and Haldan, Avid Arcanist to form a high-speed competitive Commander engine. The list utilizes elite 0–1 CMC fast mana and premier card advantage engines like Rhystic Study, Mystic Remora, and The One Ring to assemble a Turn 3 victory via Underworld Breach, Lion's Eye Diamond, and Brain Freeze. An end-step Intuition cleanly secures this win condition by grabbing Breach, LED, and Noxious Revival. When combo attempts face resistance, Pako, Arcane Retriever acts as an imposing alternate engine, attacking with haste to exile four cards per combat while growing into a lethal combat threat. Backed by a dense suite of free counterspells like Fierce Guardianship and Deflecting Swat, alongside protection spells like Veil of Summer and Legolas's Quick Reflexes, the deck effectively protects its win attempts while contesting opposing fast strategies.
