Deck overview

This deck is an Esper Sphinx typal control strategy helmed by The Ur-Sphinx. Through its eminence ability, the commander provides constant cost reduction to fuel high-impact flying beaters. The game plan relies on establishing early mana and stax-lite fortifications like Ghostly Prison and Rhystic Study, transitioning into massive card advantage engines such as Unesh, Criosphinx Sovereign and Consecrated Sphinx. With air superiority established, the deck applies severe pressure via large flyers, life-halving effects from Magister Sphinx, and explosive bursts from Akroma's Will. Strong stack interaction protects pivotal plays.
