Budget Boros by user1984961

Format: Commander

Commander: General Ferrous Rokiric

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

General Ferrous Rokiric is the deck's engine: nearly every cheap multicolored spell becomes extra value by creating a 4/4 Golem token. The primary plan is to go wide with Soldiers and Golems, then push through with Soldier lords and anthem effects. Secondary paths include a goad/draw package around Nelly Borca, Mangara, and Monologue Tax, plus a small recursion plan through Marshal's Anthem and Muster the Departed. There is no double-faced or hidden commander. Combat is the only realistic win condition; the deck finishes with hasted, trampling soldiers and multiple 4/4 tokens rather than with combos or commander damage.
