Deck overview

This is a general-power Grixis reanimation and tribal deck led by Sauron, the Dark Lord. Its main plan is to accelerate into the commander, grow an Army whenever opponents cast spells, attack to tempt the Ring, and exchange a hand for four new cards when the Ring trigger resolves. The new hand supports Nazgûl, Lord of the Nazgûl, reanimation, sweepers, and interaction. The deck also has a secondary graveyard plan using Entomb, Buried Alive, Reanimate, Living Death, and Rise of the Dark Realms. Its strongest draws can deploy a large creature early or generate a wide Wraith board, but these are ceiling lines rather than ordinary joint access to all required pieces. The list has useful answers and several mana rocks, yet its expensive spells, tapped lands, limited protection, and reliance on combat prevent a compact finish. It is best viewed as a value-oriented battlefield deck that aims to overwhelm opponents over several turns, not as a combo or competitive-control deck.
