Deck overview

This is a Ghave, Guru of Spores token and sacrifice deck built around a real infinite engine. Doubling Season doubles both the Saprolings created by Ghave and the counters placed by its sacrifice ability. Utopia Mycon converts a sacrificed Saproling into the mana needed for the next activation, allowing the loop to grow tokens and counters indefinitely. A payoff such as Corpse Knight, Cruel Celebrant, Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim, Mirkwood Bats, or Slimefoot, the Stowaway turns that loop into a same-turn table kill. Strong tutors and fast mana raise the ceiling, but the ordinary plan needs four distinct permanents and is exposed while assembling. Outside the combo, the deck can build a substantial Fungus and Saproling board with Mycoloth, Shroofus Sproutsire, and Craterhoof Behemoth. Its main weaknesses are limited interaction, modest protection density, and poor recovery after several core permanents are removed.
