Elfball by Tdf9890

Format: Commander

Commander: Thranduil, the Elvenking

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Thranduil, the Elvenking leads a Sultai Elfball combo deck that wins through infinite mana rather than combat. The primary engine stacks mana dorks that scale with Elves - Priest of Titania, Elvish Archdruid, Circle of Dreams Druid, Marwyn, Selvala, Bloom Tender and Incubation Druid - with untap outlets Staff of Domination, Umbral Mantle and Freed from the Real to generate unbounded mana and draw the deck. Thranduil acts as card advantage and graveyard toolbox, copying activated abilities of Elves in the graveyard and drawing on legendary Elf ETBs. Secondary paths use lord anthems and Gaea's Cradle for lethal attacks or Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord to drain. Hidden commanders are Selvala and Marwyn, the true mana engines.
