Deck overview

This colorless deck, commanded by Kozilek, the Great Distortion, leverages aggressive artifact acceleration to assemble decisive infinite mana combos and deploy massive Eldrazi threats. Powerful ramp pieces like Mishra's Workshop, Ancient Tomb, Mana Vault, and Sol Ring enable the deck to operate well ahead of the mana curve. The primary win condition combines Basalt Monolith with Forsaken Monument or Rings of Brighthearth to generate infinite colorless mana, which immediately converts into a game-ending burst of damage through Walking Ballista or tutor-assisted board expansion. When combo pieces are contested, Kozilek, the Great Distortion provides massive hand refills and a repeatable discard-based counter engine to protect the board, while secondary engines like Krark-Clan Ironworks and Mystic Forge offer reliable backup routes. The deck includes targeted hate pieces such as Vexing Bauble and Grafdigger's Cage to disrupt faster opponents, but remains inherently vulnerable to artifact wipe effects and stack interaction.
