Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Boros combat-stax build commanded by Winota, Joiner of Forces. The primary game plan focuses on deploying cheap, evasive non-Human creatures during the first three turns, followed by casting Winota on turn 4. When non-Humans attack, Winota digs six cards deep per attacker to put game-winning Humans directly onto the battlefield tapped, attacking, and indestructible. The deck leverages oppressive asymmetric stax pieces such as Drannith Magistrate, Archon of Emeria, and Eidolon of Rhetoric to restrict opposing spellcasting. Because Winota cheats creatures into play via triggered abilities, these Rule of Law effects severely disrupt opponents while leaving your game plan untouched. Game-ending damage multipliers like Blade Historian and Angrath's Marauders rapidly turn small boards into lethal combat waves that close out games by turn 5. Supported by a robust suite of cheap protection spells, the deck presents an explosive, resilient clock.
