Commander: Thranduil, the Elvenking

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Thranduil, the Elvenking is a five-mana Elf value engine: every legendary Elf enters to draw two and discard one, feeding the graveyard with activated abilities Thranduil can copy. The deck's primary line is an Elf-ball that overwhelms with tokens and finishes with Lathril's ten-Elf drain; Lathril is effectively the hidden commander, tutorable by Elvish Harbinger or Entomb/Buried Alive so Thranduil can copy her ability. Secondary paths go wide for an Overwhelming Stampede, or use Realm Seekers/Elvish Piper for huge trampling threats. Combat and drain are intertwined: the same wide board fuels both, while counters, protection, and graveyard recursion keep the engine alive.
