Deck overview

Aminatou, Veil Piercer commands an Esper enchantment deck designed to cheat expensive enchantments onto the battlefield using her miracle-granting ability and upkeep surveil. The primary plan establishes top-deck control through cantrips and surveil triggers, enabling discounts on massive threats like Omniscience and Shark Typhoon. From there, the deck converts board presence into victory by overwhelming opponents with flying tokens from Archon of Sun's Grace and Sigil of the Empty Throne, or by animating enchantments with Zur, Eternal Schemer and Starfield of Nyx. Alternatively, Ancient Cellarspawn turns mana cost reductions and free spells into lethal direct life loss.
