Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov Angel tribal midrange strategy piloted by Liesa, Shroud of Dusk. It focuses on curving efficient mana artifacts into formidable flying Angels while punishing opposing spell casts through continuous life-tax attrition. Because Liesa bypasses commander tax by paying life instead of mana, the deck maintains persistent board presence even through heavy removal. The mid-game leverages powerful Angel payoffs like Lyra Dawnbringer, Archangel of Thune, and Valkyrie Harbinger to generate massive life swings and token swarms, while utility pieces like Blind Obedience and Linvala, Keeper of Silence slow down opposing creature strategies. Although the deck lacks instant-speed interaction and specific creature tutors, its dense suite of reanimation engines, heavy aerial bodies, and inevitable life drain make it resilient in extended multiplayer combat.
