This Abzan deck helmed by Betor, Ancestor's Voice is a life-gain / self-inflicted-life-loss midrange pile built from three overlapping engines: life-gain amplifiers (Rhox Faithmender, The Wind Crystal, Wall of Reverence, Authority of the Consuls), repeatable life-loss draw (Dark Confidant, Dark Tutelage, Greed, Scheming Silvertongue // Sign in Blood), and a toughness / +1/+1 counter package (Assault Formation, Felothar the Steadfast, Canopy Gargantuan, Hardened Scales). Each end step Betor converts life gained into +1/+1 counters and life lost into a free reanimation, effectively rebuilding the board every turn while growing one enormous threat. The deck closes with a massive Exsanguinate fueled by Beledros Witherbloom and Seedborn Muse, or by turning giant-toughness creatures into attackers under Assault Formation. There are no infinite combos - this is an engine-driven value deck whose ceiling depends on keeping Betor alive and churning.
