Deck overview

This Orzhov deck leverages Amalia Benavides Aguirre alongside companion Lurrus of the Dream-Den, enforcing a maximum mana value of 2 on all permanents. The deck functions as an agile lifegain aristocrats engine that transitions smoothly into mass reanimation and infinite drain combos. It utilizes low-cost soul sisters like Soul Warden, Guide of Souls, and Auriok Champion to trigger Amalia's explore ability, rapidly filling the graveyard, hitting land drops, and clearing opposing creature boards when Amalia hits 20 power. The deck secures victory through an infinite recursion loop using Leonin Relic-Warder with Animate Dead or Dance of the Dead, paired with drain outlets like Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim or The Meathook Massacre to eliminate all opponents in a single turn. With dense low-cost recursion such as Chthonian Nightmare, Raise the Past, and Lurrus, the deck exhibits top-tier resilience against board wipes and removal.
