Deck overview

This deck is an Abzan combat-oriented archetype helmed by Felothar the Steadfast, turning high-toughness, low-cost defenders into formidable offensive threats. By assigning combat damage equal to toughness and ignoring defender restrictions, cards like Indomitable Ancients and Carven Caryatid become massive beaters on curve. The commander doubles as a powerful card engine, converting high-toughness, zero-power creatures into massive card advantage with zero discard penalties. Asymmetric sweepers like Slaughter the Strong and Meekstone neutralize opposing threats while leaving your high-toughness defenders entirely unscathed.
