Deck overview

This deck is a high-powered mono-black aristocrats combo list commanded by Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER // Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel. The game plan focuses on deploying fast mana and self-recurring creatures to fuel continuous sacrifice engines. Sephiroth acts as a card draw engine and life-drain outlet in the command zone, transforming into Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel after four creature deaths in a single turn to grant an indestructible emblem that drains opponents on every subsequent creature death across the table. Supported by nine direct tutors, the deck easily transitions from board-controlling attrition via Grave Pact and Dictate of Erebos into instantaneous game-winning loops using Phyrexian Altar with Forsaken Miner or the classic Exquisite Blood combo lines. High card velocity from Yawgmoth, Thran Physician and Skullclamp keeps resources flowing while devastating edict effects keep opposing creature strategies completely locked down.
