Commander: Sakashima the Impostor

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a mono-blue copy-and-steal control deck. The primary plan is to borrow the table's strongest creatures with Bribery, clones, and theft effects, then use redundancy to turn one big threat into an army. Sakashima the Impostor works as the most flexible clone: it can mimic any battlefield creature, attack for 21 commander damage, or be bounced and recast as a better threat. Secondary plans include Sakashima's Will as a pseudo-overrun, kicked Rite of Replication to one-shot with five copies, and Mimic Vat/Court of Vantress to grind value. Heavy countermagic and instant-speed removal keep the game alive until the copy engine can close.
