Deck overview

This Mardu deck utilizes Isshin, Two Heavens as One to double all attack triggers, blending Samurai tribal synergies with an aggressive Voltron Equipment strategy. The game plan focuses on deploying efficient low-curve Samurai and Warriors, resolving Isshin on Turn 3, and exploiting attacks-alone abilities alongside combat enhancers like Sigil of Valor, Raiyuu, Storm's Edge, and Embercleave. By doubling untap and extra-combat triggers, the deck creates explosive multi-combat turns that quickly eliminate opponents through commander damage or massive single-creature swings. Defensive permanents like Ghostly Prison and Michiko Konda, Truth Seeker deter counterattacks while Teferi's Protection and Boros Charm shield the board from sweepers. Although the deck relies heavily on combat connections and faces limited burst card draw, its tutorable Equipment package and redundant Samurai beaters ensure consistent offensive pressure.
