Deck overview

This deck executes a battlecruiser aggro strategy led by Kaalia of the Vast. The primary goal is developing mana across three colors by Turn 4, casting Kaalia, and untapping on Turn 5 to attack. Her triggered ability bypasses the high mana costs of large Angels, Demons, and Dragons by putting them onto the battlefield tapped and attacking. This produces immediate aerial pressure and snowballs board presence. Because the list lacks compact combos and fast mana, it closes games through sequential combat damage over multiple turn cycles. High creature redundancy ensures Kaalia always has formidable threats to cheat into play. However, the deck is heavily dependent on its commander, running sparse protection and limited card draw. When opponents disrupt Kaalia early, the deck pivots into hardcasting expensive threats on curve to finish the table.
