Deck overview

Kynaios and Tiro of Meletis sit in the command zone as a draw-plus-land engine, but the deck's real hidden engine is the symmetric card-draw package. Temple Bell, Kami of the Crescent Moon, Dictate of Kruphix, and similar effects force every hand to grow, while Smothering Tithe and Xyris, the Writhing Storm convert those draws into mana and Snake tokens. The primary kill is to survive the card flood into a low-library state, then finish with Thassa's Oracle, Laboratory Maniac, or Jace, Wielder of Mysteries. Mass draw spells such as Prosperity and Minds Glow are the accelerant. Backups include Approach of the Second Sun, Helix Pinnacle, and Insurrection stealing a table full of tokens.
