Deck overview

This deck is a classic Golgari Elfball tribal strategy commanded by Lathril, Blade of the Elves. The primary plan accelerates mana using low-cost dorks such as Llanowar Elves, Fyndhorn Elves, and Elvish Mystic to deploy Lathril, Blade of the Elves ahead of curve. By connecting with Lathril's menace evasion and leveraging token producers like Elvish Warmaster and Lys Alana Huntmaster, the deck rapidly creates a wide Elf army. High-output mana engines like Priest of Titania and Elvish Archdruid generate massive mana surpluses, fueling continuous card flow through Beast Whisperer and Guardian Project. The deck closes games decisively around Turn 5 with devastating overrun effects like Craterhoof Behemoth and Ezuri, Renegade Leader, or via direct life drain from Lathril, Shaman of the Pack, and the infinite Staff of Domination combo. While vulnerable to board sweepers, it protects its army using Heroic Intervention and Selfless Safewright.
