Deck overview

This deck is commanded by Zoyowa Lava-Tongue and operates as a synergistic Rakdos descent and group-slug attrition engine. The game plan focuses on consistently putting permanent cards into the graveyard each turn through fetchlands, cycling, rummaging, and creature sacrifices. Once descent is achieved, Zoyowa forces opponents to make punishing choices each end step between discarding cards, sacrificing permanents, or taking direct damage. Supporting permanents such as Mayhem Devil, Megrim, Liliana's Caress, and Waste Not convert these choices into severe life loss and board advantage. Mid-to-late game threats like Syr Konrad, the Grim, Painful Quandary, and Rottenmouth Viper establish a tightening stranglehold on opposing resources. The deck thrives in grindy, interactive games where incremental damage and resource denial gradually hollow out opponent options, closing the table through lethal drain and attrition.
