Commander: Thranduil, the Elvenking

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Thranduil, the Elvenking leads a Sultai elfball deck that treats the graveyard as a second hand. The primary plan is to ramp with one-drop Elf Druids, cast Thranduil early, then stock the graveyard with key Elf abilities-Devoted Druid, Immaculate Magistrate, and Elvish Warmaster-so Thranduil can generate infinite mana and pump the team. The secondary plan is a wide Elf strategy with Lathril, Imperious Perfect, and Elvish Warmaster tokens, finished by Craterhoof Behemoth or Preposterous Proportions. There is no true hidden commander, but Necrotic Ooze and Lathril act as backup Thranduil-style engines. Thranduil's role is both mana engine and finisher.
