Deck overview

This Orzhov deck is piloted by Killian, Decisive Mentor, blending an aggressive Aura Voltron engine with potent hatebear and goad control. The strategy accelerates through low-cost mana rocks and enchantress reducers to deploy Killian by Turn 3. Suiting up the commander with synergistic Auras triggers Killian to systematically tap down blockers and goad opposing threats, clearing combat paths while generating steady card advantage. Rule of Law stax pieces and tap effects slow the table's development, breaking parity since the deck only needs one aura per turn to compound pressure. Scaling power enhancers like All That Glitters, Ethereal Armor, and Twinblade Blessing turn Killian into a lethal commander-damage threat by Turn 5. Backed by proactive protection like Grand Abolisher, mass enchantment recursion with Replenish, and a backup infinite token loop using Abdel Adrian, Gorion's Ward and Animate Dead, the deck efficiently dismantles opponents in sequential combat turns.
