Day of the Dead 1985 The Deck by user5529533

Format: Commander

Commander: Gisa and Geralf

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a mid-simutrition Zombie-tribal reanimator deck built around Gisa and Geralf's repeatable 'cast a Zombie from your graveyard' ability. There is no hidden commander; Gisa and Geralf is the engine. The primary plan is to mill and attrition into a wide, lord-boosted Zombie horde, while the secondary plan is a Sanguine Bond + Exquisite Blood drain loop that can close from nearly any life-loss trigger. The deck also uses one-shot reanimation like Whip of Erebos, Grimoire of the Dead, and Zombie Apocalypse to rebuild after wipes. It is not a fast combo deck; it wins through incremental value and a single deterministic combo, protected by a strong interaction suite.
