Commander: Eluge, the Shoreless Sea

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a high-power mono-blue combo-control deck helmed by Eluge, the Shoreless Sea, designed to generate infinite mana through well-established two-card combos (Isochron Scepter + Dramatic Reversal and Basalt Monolith + Power Artifact), then win by drawing its entire library with Stroke of Genius or Finale of Revelation and chaining extra turns via Time Stretch, Time Warp, Expropriate, or Nexus of Fate. The commander's cost-reduction ability - lowering the first instant or sorcery each turn by {1} for each land with a flood counter - accelerates the deployment of high-CMC spells and makes chaining extra turns far easier. A dense suite of free counterspells (Force of Will, Force of Negation, Fierce Guardianship, Pact of Negation, Mindbreak Trap, Subtlety) and premium draw engines (Rhystic Study, Mystic Remora, Consecrated Sphinx, The One Ring) gives the deck near-complete stack control and relentless card flow, enabling it to dictate the pace of the game from the early turns and close out through overwhelming mana and looped turns.
